Fifteen is finally on the AppStore. Check it out here!
“Your photos turned into a puzzle! Shoot one and start playing right away, or choose an existing one from your photo library. The old school fifteen puzzle is back on your iPhone or iPod Touch!”
After a quite long time, today I decided to actually submit my very first iPhone Application that I did outside of work. I will be posting about it here, let’s just hope that it gets accepted quickly!
I just set up a posterous account to use as a photo blog. It’s dead easy to use with an iPhone, just mail them the photo and bam.

Hey, I wanted to share some of the stuff that I made lately. Until I finish the site and make another page for my work, I’ll just post them here I guess.
First one, I made for Nick Campbell’s (a.k.a Greyscale Gorilla) five second project themed “Kick The Bucket”. I only used After Effects for this one. Took some time but it was worth it. I hope. Five second projects are a good excuse to create someting cool. So check them out here, if you haven’t already.
For some time, I wanted to play with Maya’s dynamics tools and I had this very original (Right?) idea of spheres bouncing around! At first, I tried to make something more complex with a lot more objects, but render times are massive. This 3 second animation (24*3=72 frames) took 1,5 hours to render. Maybe I should lower render settings. Then I added the camera shake and did some color correction in After Effects. Very basic but still, it looks fine I guess.
Check them out at http://www.vimeo.com/berk for higher resolution. Let me know what you think, later!
P.S. I should thank Nick again for sharing the HDRI map which I used in “Bounce”.
